The primary function of the Retail Sales Representative (RSR) is to gain more visual inventory on the selling floor of retail establishments in the Atlanta area. This would take the form of additional facings on the shelf, new points of distribution, such as endcaps, side stackers, or spot displays, or the successful sell-in to store management of coffee and or tea shippers. The role is performed primarily in grocery and mass merchandise store chains in the Southeast. A dedication to disciplined and repeatable processes (The Service Model, How to Overcome Objections, etc.) is a must. The RSR is responsible for all 3 product types: coffee in all packages, carton tea in all packages, and ready to drink products in all packages. Secondarily, the RSR will make sure that all authorized products are in stock and on the shelf. Checks product rotation and product condition. Follows up on customer requests and complaints. Completes appropriate paperwork. Develops and maintains good working relationships with key retail store personnel. Updates Company management on new items in the market from competitors, special sales, displays, special coupons, special events that competitors sponsor or new opportunities open to the Company. Sends price checks and ad trackers to appropriate person in Company. Participates in trade shows and community events to establish relationships and enhance brand recognition. Responsible for providing daily and weekly feedback on sell-ins and progress updates using Company CRM system and email. This position will require extensive travel around the Atlanta metropolitan area. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelorï¿½s degree in business or related field preferred plus 2 years job-related experience in retail merchandising, marketing, sales or related field. Experience with grocery or convenience store industry required. This is a full time position.
