Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Responsible for supporting and assisting in the coordinated delivery of a broad range of Bank products and services (i.e., Retail Deposits, SMART Money Manager, Retail Credit, Mortgage Loans, Trust and Asset Management, Insurance, Investments, Retail Financial Plans, Scott & Stringfellow, etc.) to a portfolio of Private Banking clients; delivering exceptional, high-level service to those clients; and helping a team of Private Banking Managers (PBMs) and Private Bankers (PBs) who are the Relationship Managers for those clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Understand and execute on, as appropriate, the BB&T Private Banking Model, the BB&T Decathlon Sales Process, and the BB&T Profiling Model in support of the PBMs and PBs in their responsibilities for the Private Banking client segment. 2. Enter and maintain appropriate client records, including deposit accounts, SMART Money Manager accounts, retail loan accounts, retail loan documentation, financial plans, etc. 3. Facilitate day-to-day transactional needs of the Private Banking client base, including processing deposits, retail loan documentation, retail loan proceeds and payments, transfers, overdrafts, and other routine transactions as appropriate, maintaining accurate transactional documentation. 4. Maintain positive working relationships with various departments and specialists (IRM Integrated Relationship Management Partners) who are designated to support Private Banking client service efforts (i.e., Retail Credit Underwriting, Mortgage Underwriting, Deposit Management, Investment Management, Trust Services, Insurance Services, etc.) in support of the IRM business model. 5. Maintain positive working relationships with outside centers of influence of PBMs and PBs, such as CPAs, attorneys, physicians, local advisory board members, etc. in an effort to support and enhance the business development efforts of the PBMs and PBs. 6. Respond to client requests for information and assistance within appropriate level of authority. 7. Support the sales effort by scheduling appointments, making follow up telephone calls, and preparing and maintaining client marketing materials. 8. Continually render extraordinarily responsive and personal service to Private Banking clients.
