SUMMARY Medical Director - Campcreek Comprehensive Care Center Camp Creek Comprehensive Care Center is Grady Health System's first new site development with multi-specialty service offerings. The vision for this health center is to provide ready access to high quality patient-centered care in the Camp Creek community. Grady Camp Creek will include primary care, convenience care (with extended hours), gynecology, pediatrics, cardiology, vascular surgery, gastroenterology, and sports medicine/orthopedics. The facility also contains an advanced imaging center, pharmacy, and endoscopy suite. Specialty services will be staffed by our medical school partners: Emory School of Medicine and Morehouse College of Medicine. We are seeking dynamic, patient-centered physicians and nurse practitioners to provide primary care as well as convenience care. The anticipated opening of the facility is early summer of 2018. Medical Director works closely and collaboratively with the Practice Manager and Department Director to ensure that the WIC provides high quality, accessible patient care on a consistent basis in accordance with the mission and vision of the Grady Health System. Medical Director should exhibit strong communication skills. Provides direct outpatient medical services in the WIC. QUALIFICATIONS Licensed by the State of Georgia without restriction to practice medicine Board certified in a Primary Care specialty of internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine or preventive medicine. Exhibits a clear interest in the financial aspects of outpatient medical practice Experience in management of a medical practice preferred, but not required Physical requirements are moderate with sustained sitting, standing, or walking Requires close, distance vision, hearing, talking and manual dexterity The work environment involves occasional exposure to risk electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; and regular exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease The noise level is generally moderate Required safety equipment for this position may include gloves, gowns, masks, safety eyeglasses, and goggles with shields EOE-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
