Requisition Number 18-1631 Title Deputy Head of School (HOS) City Atlanta State GA Description SUMMARY: The Deputy Head of School (HOS) works with the HOS as a second in command to support the growth and help oversee the performance of the school. This position also supports the success of fiscal and academic performance as well as business operations and leadership development. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required; other duties may be assigned. * Demonstrates understanding of and supports GCA and K12 s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior; * Helps oversee the attainment of high levels of student achievement at the school; Assists in refining the education design to improve student achievement; * Helps HOS manage and develop school leaders in their roles; * Helps oversee and support all staff within the school to ensure high quality implementation of GCA and K12 curriculum plans, process and policies, instructional guidelines, and operational efficiencies; * Supports HOS in effective and efficient budget management; * Helps determine priorities for the school and manages the team (e.g. Operations, Finance, Technology, Special Education, etc.) to achieve deliverables; The above job is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
