JOB ID - 188002 The Director, Security Architecture and Privacy will report to the Executive Director, Information Security. This individual will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for secure design, development, and delivery of current and future projects and technologies addressing internal and external business needs. The director will be responsible for ensuring that privacy and security are integrated into the SDLC process and project owners are provided clear guidance on privacy and security standards. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong business acumen and possess a blend of general Business, Technology and Security competencies. Specifically, this individual will have a versatile background, critical thinking and analytical capabilities, as well as a proven ability to bridge organization boundaries to implement security controls in products and risk mitigation strategies. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions �Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the following: �Partner with legal, compliance, development, strategy and engineering teams to build and deliver secure technology solutions �Develop privacy and security standards and integrate them into the SDLC process �Participate in all phases of the SDLC process, from requirements gathering, to design, to build, followed by verification testing of security and privacy standards �Identify security and privacy trends and changes, and relate those changes to current and future needs of the stakeholders Qualifications Minimum: �10 or more years of experience required in Information Security, Data Protection, or Privacy �Requires strong knowledge of security technologies and processes � Identity and Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, Web Application Firewall, EndPoint solutions, IPS/IDS, Penetration Testing, Web Application Assessment �Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security solutions �Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization Preferred: �BS/BA in a related discipline required (i.e., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, etc.); and 10 years of experience in security �3 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects �Experience in telecommunications industry desired �At least one relevant security certification � CISSP, CISM, CISA Cox is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer - All qualified applicants/employees will receive consideration for employment without regard to that individual�s age, race, color, religion or creed, national origin or ancestry, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, physical or mental disability, veteran status, genetic information, ethnicity, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
